Born names Anyiaka Florence Njang, artistically known as Psalmist Florence, hails from southwest Region of Cameroon.
Beside her family having a Christians background, she decided on her own with the help of the holy spirit to follow God diligently.
She never knew much about music but admired music alot and started listening to hill song, Sinach, in 2014/ 2015 and decided to serve in the choir through which build her vocal strength, and she kept Improving on the skills daily.
Besides ministry she runs an NGO Creating a smile foundation, a pageant Miss/Mister Christian Cameroon, a business Flocy Tea.
She choose gospel music because her assignment is to transfer the burdens of God in the hearts of Men and she wants to use music as a tool to win souls for God. Psalmist Florence has two releases that is -My Messiah -Lifter of my Soul She has no awards backed for now. She is currently serving as a music Director at the Apostlic Gospel Mission Buea(Molyko) Branch and she says, the Holy Spirit, Sinach ,Victoria orenze ,Min Theophilus are her inspiration.
Psalmist Florence is currently preparing for her upcoming Live concert 2024.
She has this to say to all other gospel artist out there “They are all Amazing and they should keep doing what they do”.
One of her greatest challenges, is financing a single or an album and doing concerts and videos.
She has felt like giving up so many times, because so many songs she recieved are covered without so many oracle getting to hear them because financing music projects is not easy at all. What keeps me going is the fact that, “God Died for me that I may have all he has promised me in his word. I am hopeful” says Psalmist Florence.
